Simaetha tenuidens  

In an unusual turn of events, this Jumping Spider found me rather than vice-versa.

I entered a structure in the Brisbane Botanic Gardens and felt something on my arm. When I looked, a Jumping Spider was having a hard time navigating the hair on my left arm.

At the same time I was having difficulty holding and focusing the camera one-handed to get a photo before the adventurous spider jumped away.

After taking some photos I placed my arm along side a metal wash basin and the Jumping Spider abandoned ship and started admiring its reflection in the metal.
